About passion

Do you want to know the truth? I’ve just discovered a new passion. The problem? I don’t actually have the time to develop it, which makes me pretty sad! Somehow I know it has always been there, hiding, just as a recessive allele does… Waiting to express itself.

I had already been told I should do it, but I’ve always found innumerable excuses to avoid it. The reason? I can’t tell for sure. Normally, people say that the offspring eventually resembles its procreators. And I guess that is what I was afraid of. It is not that I dislike what my parents do, or that they are not successful… On the contrary, they are pretty good at it. The real problem is that I wanted to have a different path, I didn’t want my future to depend on destiny, I wanted me to build it up.

Perhaps all I’ve ever wanted was already there, but I’ve never seen it… Perhaps it’s just that I refuse to be like everyone else and want to be, to create something new… Only time will help me decide what my future will be like. Meanwhile I have the amazing opportunity of developing all my goals and passions.

Monet

Inspiration

Today I was planning on writing some stuff about how media affect the way people think about transgenics for a school blog… The beginning (according to me) was amaaazing!!! I actually loved it! The problem was that I was only thinking how I would write because I couldn’t actually do it in that precise moment. Don’t you hate when that happens?! I mean, I spent a while creating the post on my mind for it to go aways as easy as that… It pretty much sucks! Anyways, I hope my inspiration comes back somehow, otherwise I’ll have to force it, and I simply don’t like that. Perhaps watching a movie will bring it back. My recommendation? Have a recorder near ALL the time :)

Just something…

When I first started this blog, I promised myself I’d write pretty often… but I haven’t done it. (Well, that’s pretty obvious) I have two drafts, different topics, it’s just that I’m not sure how to start and wether it will come out as I wish them too… I dare to say I’m a bit scared, I haven’t written for YEARS!!! So, I guess it’s time to get working… Expect something soon :)
